"Scientific Petroleum" is concerned all disciplines and fields relevant to exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, and the use and economics of petroleum, natural gas, and other sources of energy, in particular alternative energies with a view to sustainable development.
Scientific Petroleum is a peer-reviewed. Journal provides complex information for oil & gas industry development, where due to discussions of prominent scientists both scientific, technical and economical issues as well are being publicly known.
Scientific Petroleum has a distinguished editorial board with extensive academic qualifications, ensuring that the journal maintains high scientific standards.
Since 2023 the Journal is in the list of editions that are recommended for publication of main conclusions of DS and PhD dissertations by decision of Supreme Attestation Commission attached to the President of Azerbaijan Republic.
Only articles approved by all the Authors, which have not already been published and which have not been simultaneously submitted for publication in another journal, will be considered by "Scientific Petroleum".
All submitted articles undergo reviewing and approval by the Editorial Board.
The Journal’s languages are English, Azeri and Russia.
