OPEN ACCESS POLICY
Scientific Petroleum is committed to providing full open access to its content, fostering the widespread exchange of knowledge on a global scale. Our Open Access approach enables authors to retain copyright to their articles, facilitating immediate and unrestricted access. This allows for the seamless deposit of published papers in other repositories without any restrictions on re-use.
PUBLICATION ETHICS
The journal Scientific Petroleum adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics as set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Research Results
We unequivocally denounce the fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data intended to mislead. Such actions are considered the misappropriation of data or research results from other authors. Research findings should be transparently recorded, facilitating comprehensive analysis and review.
Authorship
All individuals making significant contributions should be acknowledged as authors, and contributors should be duly recognized. Authors are encouraged to provide a complete list of current institutional affiliations.
Competing Interests
Authors, reviewers, and editors are strongly advised to disclose any conflicting or competing interests related to a given article. Competing interests have the potential to influence publication decisions, leading to a skewed value of publication.
Plagiarism
Any form of plagiarism, including the reproduction of text from other papers without proper attribution or the production of multiple papers with nearly identical content by the same authors, is strictly unacceptable for Scientific Petroleum. Authors should present only results obtained by themselves and cite the publications used in obtaining the presented results.
Duplicate Submission
Simultaneous submissions of the same manuscript to different journals are not acceptable. Such papers will be promptly removed from the list of papers under evaluation.
Corrections and Retractions
Upon submission, authors commit to promptly retract or correct errors in published works. Reviewers' comments should be addressed and clearly incorporated into the paper if accepted. The final version of the paper, prepared in the journal format and style, should be submitted.

PEER REVIEW POLICY
In our pursuit of publishing high-quality papers, we employ a robust peer-review process, which includes the following key considerations:
- Manuscripts should not be submitted to different journals simultaneously.
- Manuscripts should align with the journal's scope.
- Manuscripts are reviewed by two experts as recommended by the editorial board.
- Editors may invite additional reviews in certain cases.
- Editors-in-Chief make the primary decision based on reviewers' reports, and authors are promptly notified.
- Submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents, and all editors and reviewers are bound to maintain confidentiality.
- Editors and reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest, and they are excluded from the evaluation process in such cases.
- The review process is confidential, and the identities of those involved are not disclosed.

COPYRIGHT POLICY
Upon acceptance of an article, authors receive copyright, ensuring the broadest dissemination of information. The papers are published under the Creative Commons CC BY license, and the terms and conditions of the copyright are regulated by the terms outlined in this statement, which partially means that:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of the first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License. This allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are free to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work, with acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are encouraged to post their work online before and during the submission process, fostering productive exchanges and earlier and greater citation of published work.
